Today supposed to be a bonus day for me because it is an additional public holiday in conjunction with the installation of the new YDPA. I thought that I can have all the time I need to carry out things that I have planned for myself to work on but apparently things doesn't happen the way I want it to be.
Woke up by my mother early in the morning after a good sleep, thanks to the morning rain. I have been asked by my mother to prepare pizza as our breakfast with the red sauce that I have prepared days before.
My noon is occupied by making pineapple tarts because my mother has some leftover pineapple jams that she wish to clear. In between the pizza and the tarts, I have some time to read newspaper and to watch news. I also took out my mattress and sofa cushions to have a sun bath under the hot sun.
After the pineapple tart baking process, it's already evening and I have to fix the rack that is used to plant passion fruit, which is destroyed by the strong wind few days ago.
I reconstruct the rack for the vines to hook on by replacing raffia strings with iron wires as raffia strings degrades easily after long exposures to sunlight. I also extends the reach of the vines so that it has more area to grow on. Hopefully we will be seeing some fruits in the future, otherwise my effort will be wasted.
After fixing the rack, I have to clean myself and prepare to go out for dinner. We had thai cuisine for dinner today and by the time we finished our meal, it's almost 10pm at night. Dropped by a bakery to buy some bread as breakfast tomorrow and reach home around 10:30pm.
There goes my day, which suppose to be a productive day for myself, end up being a good son for my mother. This is why I said, I will be more productive if I'm alone, without external disturbance. Hence, all I can do now, with the remaining time I have, is just to type this entry, and go to bed early as I'm very tired physically.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a more productive day.
